I know...Thanksgiving has come and gone. Over the past several weeks, we've had much to give thanks for. Obviously, there's Mikey. And there's definitely having a marriage that ROCKS and, for me personally, a husband who I get to watch and experience living a life that reflects Christ more and more as time goes on.
But this year we had the special privilege of getting to spend time with both of our parents before our son arrived.

| Out to lunch at a nearby mall with my parents. |
 |
| My mom and Matt working on a puzzle. When we picked it out we didn't think about all the dark areas being so hard...whoops! |
 |
| Matt's parents catching up on their reading. |
And of course we couldn't help but be thankful that all four grandparents were around to spend some time with their first grandchild (on both sides...I sense a "well-loved" child in our possession).
On Thanksgiving Day, we didn't have a single thing planned, so we made one of our favorite meals and thoroughly enjoyed a treat from America...DR. PEPPER!!!!

| Check out those little bottles of liquid heaven...pardon me while I wipe drool off the keyboard. |
We got together with some people in Istanbul on Saturday to have the full Thanksgiving spread. And man was it delicious! We took our camera, but got so caught up in conversation and delicious food that we didn't take a single picture to put on here, so you'll just have to take our word for it that the day was awesome.
These are just a few of the things we have been thankful for recently. Hope you've been able to find things to be thankful for in your own life...and that it isn't limited to Thanksgiving Day.
